Editor of consumer site for one of the largest cable-TV networks. Responsible for all text and for site's "voice."  Edited daily-deadline content, both journalistic and promotional, and wrote/edited for show sites including Steven Spielberg Presents TAKEN, Stargate SG-1 and Battlestar Galactica. Produced daily front page, creating links to dynamically generated art and text.

Managed the Production Editor, the Community Producer and three off-site section editors. Assigned and edited freelancers. As part of Marketing department, worked with Programming and other divisions to promote SCI FI Channel and to provide users with timely, accurate, entertaining information.

Proficient in HTML, FTP and related Internet production tools. Well-versed in AP Stylebook and Chicago Manual of Style.

Editor, Hachette Filipacchi New Media

Created companion sites for the major national magazines Popular Photography, Sound & Vision and Mobile Entertainment for new-media division of publishing and TV conglomerate.

Edited new and repurposed copy.  Created hypertext content such as sponsored packages and contests. Worked with Design, Marketing and Tech departments and freelancers. Managed producer.

Senior Editor, Gist TV Online

Conceived, assigned, edited and wrote feature stories, news items and reviews, and produced hypertextual content for online magazine with daily new editorial content plus user-customizable TV listings.

Led coordinated Editorial/Design/Tech teams on site-enhancement projects — one adding hundreds of hyperlinks to Gist's listings grid, another allowing users to filter TV programs by multiple genres.  Editorial Producer, "TV Quickie with Nikki," a daily one-minute streaming-video program.
